Brooklyn, June 21 2018 - New York Dutch Lions FC added some Utrecht flavor to the All Star team today by announcing that 2003 and 2004 Dutch Cup winners Pascal Bosschaart and Hans van der Haar will play for the team this week. Combined they played 54 games fort he Dutch National youth teams.
Pascal Bosschaart spent several years of his youth career at Feyenoord. He made his professional debut for FC Utrecht in 1997. He played seven years for the Premier League-club in the Netherlands playing 194 games. He then signed with Feyenoord where he played 53 games in two years. After Feyenoord he signed with ADO Den Haag, where he played 5 years (110 games) before moving to Australia where he signed with Sydney FC. After 33 games (1 goal) he retired as a professional player. Bosschaart played 22 games for the Dutch National Youth Teams (U16-U21) and won the Dutch Cup in 2003 and 2004 with FC Utrecht.
Hans van de Haar played for FC Utrecht and Ajax in his youth career and made his professional debut for Haarlem in 1994. After two years (48 games, 8 goals) he transfered to De Graafschap where he scored 12 goals in 48 games. His scoring ability earned him a contract in Germany where he played for Uerdingen (21 games, 5 goals), SSV Ulm (33 games, 11 goals) and then Austria (Bregenz, 9 games, 1 goal). He then returned tot he Netherlands where he played for De Graafschap (44 games, 16 goals), FC Utrecht (56 games, 16 goals), RKC Waalwijk (49 games, 6 goals), ADO Den Haag (33 games, 9 goals), AGOVV (20 games, 5 goals). He ended his professional career with Dayton Dutch Lions FC in the USA where he played 11 games and scored 3 goals. Van de Haar played 32 games for the Dutch National Youth Teams. He won the Dutch Cup with FC Utrecht in 2003 and 2004. In 2017 he was Assistant Coach with FC Utrecht in the Dutch Premier League.
