Kenneth Monkou was born in Suriname. He made his debut for Feyenoord in 1985 where he played three years (43 games) before transfering to EPL side Chelsea. He played 94 games, scoring 4 goals for Chelsea. In his first year he was voted “Player of the Year”. In 1992 he signed with EPL team Southampton, where he played for 7 years. He scored 10 goals in 198 games. He spent his last two years of his career with Huddersfield Town, where he played 21 games in two years. He currently works for the FA in England.
