Orlando Engelaar spent his whole youth career from 6 to 21 years old at Dutch Premier League-club Feyenoord. He then signed a contract with NAC Breda (the Netherlands) where he played for four years. In his 94 games he scored 22 times. He then played for Racing Genk (Belgium, 2 years), FC Twente (the Netherlands, 2 years), Schalke 04 (Germany, 1 year), PSV (the Netherlands, 4 years), Melbourne Heart (Australia, 1 year) and FC Twente again (1 year).
