Stephan Keller is a central defender who played 13 years in the Youth Academy of Grasshoppers in Zurich. He made his professional debut in 1999 for Neuchatel Xamax where he played two years (63 games, 1 goal). He also played 61 games (3 goals) for Zurich between 2002-2004. He then signed with German club Rot Weiss Erfurt where he stayed one year (19 games) before coming to the Netherlands where he spent four years playing for RKC Waalwijk (47 games) and De Graafschap (39 games) in the Premier League. After De Graafschap he went on to play for Sydney FC in Australia where he played 59 games. With Sydney he won the Austrailan Championship. He spent his last year of his playing career with Dutch Premier League-club Willem II where he played 17 games. Keller played three games for the Swiss National team. After his playing career he started coaching. He started in the Youth Academy of PSV and then coached four years at the Youth Academy of NAC Breda before moving to Aarau in Switzerland in 2017.
